Megan Lloyd is an experienced strategic communications, corporate affairs and media relations practitioner. After an extensive and highly regarded career as a journalist and Editor with News Corporation, Megan made the successful transition into the Australian corporate sector – managing corporate communications and external affairs including media relations, internal communications and stakeholder engagement for diverse clients & employers from the energy sector with ElectraNet, automotive manufacturing with GM Holden and defence industry manufacturing with ASC, to Hickinbotham Homes, local government (Gawler Council) the not for profit sector (Catherine House, Rugby Union SA, Australian National Drag Racing Association) and mid-size manufacturing (Revolution Roofing).
Knowing what Australians want and need to know about, and most importantly what interests them, has been fundamental to her career.
Megan has been in a position to oversee news coverage and campaigns relating to many sectors of Australian life. She has been on the receiving end of PR and marketing approaches seeking media coverage on diverse issues and understands what will grab the media’s and community’s attention and what will not.
